Dollars raised through the Durham Chapel Hill Jewish Federation provide support locally, nationally, and globally. Supporting partner agencies and local programs, the Federation nurtures and educates our children, maintains and strengthens Jewish life, brings comfort and care to the elderly and reinforces and sustains our connection to the worldwide Jewish community.

• Aid for Jews in need living in the Former Soviet Union and Ethiopia

• Microfinance loans to support international grassroots change
• Scholarship funding for secondary and post-secondary education

During the fall of each year, volunteers from all parts of the Durham Chapel Hill Jewish community determine how to distribute annual allocation funds by evaluating which agencies and programs are most in need.
