Presents Folk Songs from Jewish Traditions
Jews have been singing for millennia, wherever they have found a home. Their songs have been heard not only in synagogues but also around campfires, in theaters, alongside babies’ cribs, at the golden stones of Jerusalem. The Triangle Jewish Chorale lifts its voices in Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino, and English to offer a range of songs that have, over time, come to be considered the music of the people — folk music.
